HMN- The situation continues to unfold at this hour as details of the incident began to be released. According to local Orlando, Florida news outletsÂ 20 are dead inside a nightclub. WFTV 9 in Orlando posted during a press conference Sunday morning, Florida Department of Law Enforcement spokesman Danny Banks officially classified the shootings at Pulse Nightclub as an “act of terrorism.” No information has been released on the hazmat and bomb disposal action at the current hour.

CBS News identified the shooter as Omar Mateen, a U.S. citizen from Port St. Lucie. Orlando police have not released the identity, but a news conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
Officials did not say exactly how many were killed in the shooting, which happened at Pulse, described on its website as the “hottest gay bar in Orlando.” The club is located at 1912 S. Orange Avenue near Kaley Street.
