HMN-Baltimore responds to a reported CO leak at an area Marriott hotel.  All four floors were evacuated and 2 patients were transported to the hospital.  WBFF provides more.


BALTIMORE (WBFF) – Drivers should avoid a portion of downtown Baltimore Saturday afternoon due to activity involving Baltimore City fire crews at a hotel where a carbon monoxide leak occurred.

The Fire Department confirms that crews responded to reports of a carbon monoxide leak at the Marriott’s Delta Hotels around 12:50 p.m. Units worked to identify the source of the leak which was coming from the basement. Further details on what caused the leak are unavailable at this time. All four floors of the hotel were evacuated and two people were transported to a local hospital for evaluation. A third person refused treatment on the scene.

There’s heavy first responder activity on E. Redwood St. by S. Charles St. while crews remain on scene.
