An early morning release of Flourine Gas at an industrial site in Pennsylvania has prompted an evacuation order from emergency officials.
A gas leak at a Plumsteadville, Bucks County, plant has prompted officials to tell residents within a half-mile of the facility to shelter in place. Initial reports indicated the gas was fluorine and that one person required decontamination. There are no other reports of injuries. The leak occurred at Scott Gas, 6117 Easton Road, according to the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Department. It was first reported around 7:15 a.m.
