Utilities, FDNY Units are Responding to a reported street collapse and water main leak after a line was struck.
Con Edison and FDNY crews are responding to a report of a water main pipe rupture and street collapse in Queens after a gas main was struck, according to the FDNY. The gas issue near Northern Boulevard and 114th Street in Corona was reported shortly before 2:30 p.m. Friday, the utility says. Fire officials say there are no injuries reported or evacuations currently. FDNY is on scene to make sure the immediate area is secure.
