The unit is an On Call Haz Mat and WMD Team with 33 MembersÂ
Orange County Haz Mat trains monthly, NYS Classes on site as well as at the NYS Training facility, on line classes are common and members will travel to out of state schools through the consortium.
The Apparatus:
 
2000 KME this is the main response vehicle that includes meters, suits, reference material, & computers.
2005 ford F-550 a plumbers truck, this is the spill truck.
Trailer #1 is a Level A trailer. It carries a smaller version of the KME and also AR-AFFF foam and large caliber deliver devices. This is also to assist the Fire Departments in a large emergency.
Trailer #2 is housed by the Maybrook FD and is the spill trailer.
Trailers #3 & 4 are decontamination trailers housed at and the Village of Florida Fire Departments
