HazMat team utilizes Tower Ladder to deploy for PA Ammonia Leak

HMN – Members of Haz Mat 2 Environmental Fire & Rescue Company for the County of Lancaster PA responded to an Ammonia leak at an Agrifrost facility. (Read Original News Article Here)

To render the situation safe members donned Level A PPE and used a Tower Ladder to make access to the roof. Team representatives reported they used 4-gas and an additional NH3 detector for monitoring and credit good training and a great team for safe operations. The team, utilizing the highest level of skin and respiratory protection, performed their entry and in coordination with ground crews determined that there was no active leak.
