HAZMATTERS: City of Calgary
Today we are recognizing the HAZMATTERS from the City of Calgary.
These responders answer to local, and regional calls in the Alberta Province of Canada. The City of Calgary responders protect a population of 1.4 million on a full time basis.
While cross staffed to other apparatus, the crews still maintain their training hours with monthly updates, many hours of in station training, and recertifications.
Recently, these HAZMATTERS replaced their 2008 model trucks with three 2017 Spartan chassis rigs. These trucks run out of their stations 4, 17, and 26.
