I have worked for a major Emergency Response Training Center for the past 11 years, 5 of which have been as a Training Manager of the Hazardous Materials Program. We train over 4000 students annually from Industrial to Municipal. One of the major problems with training is the inability to receive readings on any of the numerous detectors we deploy. We are frequently relegated to having a facilitator or Instructor verbally tell us what our readings are at any given time during an exercise. This is not only unrealistic, but it does not help us practice with our instruments as is required to be used properly during an emergency.  I have demo’d the HazSim product and believe it will be a giant step forward in this type of training and exercising.  I have never seen anything like it and I believe it will bring our training capabilities into the 21st Century.  If the HazSim was available on the market today, I can only imagine the capabilities it would provide to our Emergency Responders and their training capabilities.”
