DENVER — Huge flames lit up a street early Saturday morning in Denver’s Ruby Hill neighborhood.
Neighbors on South Yuma Street in between Jewell Avenue and Colorado Avenue came running outside a little after 6 a.m. after hearing an explosion only to see flames, some shooting as high as 60 feet in the air, coming out of a nearby home.
Firefighters say exploding propane tanks from a hot air balloon business are to blame for fueling the massive blaze and that it is still unknown what caused the propane tanks to explode.
The home experience significant damage.
Firefighters say no one was seriously injured or killed.
