First Choice Safety Solutions began in 2014 as a two-person consulting firm. Since then, the Mystic, Conn., company has grown into a comprehensive safety solutions firm. It provides training for all hazmat professionals in the private, municipal and federal sector across the nation.

The firm has 30 full-time staff. Its instructors are NFPA-certified fire service instructors and hazmat technicians with extensive real-world hazmat Technician experience in the hot zone. Hazmat instructors are trained at least to the hazmat specialist level. And getting their 40-hour hazmat technician program Pro Board certified was a shining accomplishment.
