PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) – A barbecue fire in west Phoenix put three adults and two children in the hospital on Friday evening.
Fire crews were called out to an apartment complex near 79th Avenue and McDowell Road after reports of an explosion. When they got there, they found a smoking barbecue fire. The two children were seriously hurt. The adults’ injuries were not as serious. An investigation is underway.
