FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Crews with South King Fire were dispatched to Wild Waves Thursday afternoon for a possible chlorine spill.

According to the fire department, the liquid spilled was determined to actually be sodium hypochlorite and not chlorine.

Crews say a total of 2,500 gallons of the liquid were spilled.

There are no reported injuries.

The liquid has been contained to the park’s retention pond and crews are clearing the scene.
