FLAGSTAFF, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) — A tanker truck crashed near Interstate 40 in Flagstaff Monday night causing a massive fire.
The crash happened at around 8 p.m. on Butler Avenue under the I-40 bridge, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. The crash caused eastbound I-40 to be closed but the road has since reopened.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the driver of the truck had a possible leg injury and was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
