There was a HAZMAT incident this morning on the Blue Route in Lower Merion Township that was responded to by the George Clay Fire Company. A tanker truck caught fire just after 4:30 a.m. and the fire company was able to extinguish the fire and contain the leak. The county’s HAZMAT unit was called in to assist with cleanup.
