UPDATE (WKOW) — The gas leak near the town of Sun Prairie on County Highway T was resolved.
MG&E responded along with Sun Prairie Fire Department and Dane County Sheriffs.
The gas leak was cleared up at 1:05 p.m.
According to Dane County Communications no one was evacuated.
SUN PRAIRIE (WKOW) — A gas leak occurred near the town of Sun Prairie on County Highway T due to digging.
The leak was caused by a tree being dug out.
At 11:20 a.m. Sunday morning Sun Prairie Fire Department and Dane County Sheriffs responded to the call.
MG&E have been notified.
There is no indication for the need to evacuate according to Dane County Communications.
