Chemical Suicide Study – San Diego Hazardous Incident Response Team

Published on Sep 30, 2013 by Hazmatter7
San Diego Hazardous Incident Response Team conducted a study to determine the hazards associated with a chemical suicide called “Detergent Suicide.” One of the main findings for responder safety is that it did not reach the lower explosive limit for hydrogen sulfide gas, no matter how much reactants we added up to a gallon each! This study was recently presented at the Hazmat Conference “The Continuing Challenge.”
