LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) – There was some unneeded excitment at the offices of the Clark County Election Department in North Las Vegas on Monday.
The building had to be evacuated for a time after an employee noticed a suspicious substance on a piece of incoming mail.
The employee told his superior, that superior contacted police, and HAZMAT crews were sent out to investigate.
After a short time, it was determined that the substance in question was merely some deodorant and soon afterward everyone was let back into the building.
No information was given about the contents of the mail in question.
